Mark is both the Company Director and Senior Chartered Physiotherapist at The Back & Neck Pain Clinic. He is an experienced musculoskeletal specialist, having treated both International sportsmen and athletes alike. Mark's multidisciplinary skills show themselves as having worked very closely with the army developing rehabilitation treatments following injury, as well as working within the NHS as a physiotherapist.
Kelly graduated in New Zealand in the year 2000 and after working at a sports and spinal clinic for 2 years, she has spent the last 4 years working within the NHS and privately. Kelly has a strong background in the management of back pain and is qualified in the use of acupuncture for pain relief and Pilates.
Nicola graduated from Otago University, New Zealand, in 2002 and gained invaluable experience working in private practices both in New Zealand and Australia. Since arriving in the United Kingdom in 2006, she has worked within the NHS and spent a year working with the Military. Nicola has a keen interest in the treatment of shoulder, spinal, and pelvic girdle dysfunction and incorporates clinical Pilates into her treatment. In addition to this, Nicola is also qualified in the use of acupuncture for pain relief.
Matthew specialises in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions & sports injuries. He has worked in the NHS, MOD and private healthcare sector and is near completion of his MSc (Specialist Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy). Matthew has a particular interest in Triathlon & has worked with a number of elite sportsmen. He also has a particular interest in the management of spinal pain. He is qualified in manipulation & acupuncture for pain relief & the restoration of normal movement.
Hannah qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine in 2003 and since then has spent time working within the NHS, as well as the private and public sector both in the UK and in Australia. During her career she has spent a year working at a back pain clinic from which she gained valuable experience in treating people with spinal conditions as well as developing a particular interest in cervicogenic headaches. This lead her to undertake a spinal Graduate Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy run at Curtin University in Perth whilst over in Australia which she is now in the final stages of completing.
Chris graduated from the University of Wales, College of Medicine in 2000. During his career he has worked with Welsh Rugby teams, American Football teams, Taekwon-do and even one Champions league game with Barrytown vs FC Porto. He has just completed an MSc in Sport and Performance Physiotherapy. He has a particular interest in chronic tendon pain and sports injury rehabilitation.
Ben comes to Physio4life having recently completed an MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy (Sports and Performance) at Kings College London.
He has extensive sports experience having worked in solely in that field since completing his undergraduate training at Bristol.
His experience includes working full time within professional football and rugby whilst additionally being involved with organisations including; Elite University athletics, British Superbikes, England Netball, British Power lifting and the Great Britain Rowing team.
He additionally has military experience having been a civilian contractor to the 1st Assault Division-Royal Marines and Special Boat Service whilst based in Poole.
He is a published author with the ambition to complete a PhD within the area of tendon conditions within the next few years.
